On October 18, 2025, a significant protest took place in Las Vegas, emblematic of a broader movement against authoritarianism. The gathering, part of a nationwide initiative, was a powerful demonstration against the so-called King Trump narrative, reflecting the sentiments of millions who demand a return to democratic principles. Participants, including those aligned with the No Kings ideology, asserted their commitment to remaining indivisible in the fight for civil liberties. This event stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of civic engagement among citizens who refuse to accept tyranny.
This movement is disciplined and nonviolent by design—no crowns, no cults, just citizens insisting the Constitution still rules. (That’s core to the organizers’ own guidance.) Organizers included Indivisable Las Vegas.
🎥 Watch Citizen Ben’s Las Vegas field report: raw street-level voices, high-energy crowds, and the message echoing from Fremont to the Beltway—we elect presidents, not kings. Then share it before the story gets spun.
Protesters hit the streets to demand accountability on immigration crackdowns, gutted social programs, and what they blasted as the administration’s blatant disregard for the rule of law. LGBTQ+ participants turned out in force, warning that hard-won protections are once again hanging by a thread.
Protesters also made it clear they “love America” and lambasted Speaker Mike Johnson calling protesters as “hate America” and “Pro-Hamas”.
Despite the fury, the marches stayed overwhelmingly peaceful. Las Vegas Metro Police confirmed zero arrests along the Strip, and just a single disorderly-conduct citation downtown—a tiny spark in an otherwise disciplined display of peaceful dissent.
